BBCtv Clock 1953

This BBCtv clock ident from 1953 proves relevant to my research for a multitude of reasons. Most significantly, the unsteady movement of the title imagery is a convention typical of the time period and is something I wish to explore within my own animation and identity experiments. Furthermore, the grainy film finish to the end product reminds me again of footage frequently televised throughout the era that helps to connote a sense of nostalgia and emphasise the ageing feel of the piece.
